Sheebeg and Sheemore is a two-part Carolan tune in D major, written in 3/4 time. The tune contains about 34 bars and spans from D3 to B4. It is credited to Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). Probably the first tune composed by O'Carolan. S\'i Beag and S\'i M\'or are two hills in Co. Leitrim associated in the local folklore with two bands of fairies continually at war with each other.
